Non Silicone Spray is an industrial release agent designed for release of metal, rubber, plastic, concrete and wood materials which are to be painted, printed, metallized, stenciled, glued, bonded, laminated, hot-stamped or lacquered after releasing without impact to the film. No special cleaning is required before part decoration.

Silkot L 170 is inert to metals, plastics and most organic materials. As supplied, LVG COMPOUNDcanbe wiped on moulds or platens or dispersed in certain solvents and appliedby spraying, swabbing, or perchloroethylene, and ethyl ketone.
Silkot L 170 is insoluble in wate, or ethyl alchol, glycerol, or menaral oil.

APPLICATIONS
IN THE RUBBER INDUSTRY
Silkot L 170 is used as a mouldrelease agent for difficult release jobs, it is anexcellent lubricant and preservativefor rubber. Wiped with this grease-like silicone, tight-fitting rubber parts slide into place quickly and easily.
IN THE PLASTIC INDUSTRY
Silkot L 170 used as a release agent for epoxy, polystyrene, polyvinylchloride, polyester resins and other plastic materials.
method of application vary. In some case, SHM L 170 is simply rubber on the mouldsurface. In applications involving complex mould, LVG COMPOUND is dispersedinvants and sprayed on the mould surface. Method of application, concentrations, and frequency of application are best determined by actual trials. Where such dispersion is desire, a 5% concentration of LVG in solvent is suggested.
